Best 99 cents I have ever spent! Ive only had this app for a few hours and I can already tell you that Im in love. As a singer it is great for recording song ideas. I can go back later and add a guitar in, or practice 3 part harmonies on other songs I like to sing. I cant wait to learn how to use it more. So excited I found this app! Ive already told 4 friends who have downloaded it as soon as I told them how amazing it was, and they are loving it too.

The price of this $0.99 makes it a steal. So worth the price if you are a musician with an idea! Do you go to a studio? No reach in your pocket and record away. Couldnt be easier. Great for when you are in your car with an idea stuck in your head, instead of losing it. Record it for later reference. I am so happy with this. Great job.

I have a windows system... The .caf file format is not compatible with any software on my machine. Ive spent the last two hours....(which I will never get back) trying to find a file coverter that will make the useless .caf file into a .wav file. No luck... must rate this two stars for a great app....with a huge flaw... .caf files are useless unless someone can answer the most obvious question...Ive had no luck answering... What do you do with .caf when youre windows based.... Oh, I hear its great for garage band....ummm garage band works on macs.... Its so close to being the coolest app in the world.

The Iphone is just ridiculous with its capabilities. I love this app. Perfect for sitting down and just jamming riffs or multi tracking for solo ideas. Sound quality is great. Would never thought there would be an app like this for a musician. Love it!

I cannot rate this app highly enough. I used tascam portastudio for more than two decades. And more recently use steinberg cubase for pc/hard drive recording. I bought gigbaby on a whim about one month ago, despite mixed reviews. I rarely use cubase these days due to not having dedicated music room and pain of setting up. Anyway am using gigbaby mainly for acoustic guitar and vocal harmony recording and totally satisfied with ease of use, quality of output and lack of time lag reported on earlier versions. I cannot imagine a recording tool being easier to use or quicker to get results with. Only limitation is with mastering. Gigbaby studio has been released since I bought this, must Chek this out to see if it adds all features needed here. Only additional feature I would like is ability to bounce tracks to free up additional track or two. But cant complain. Superb app. Far exceeded my expectations.

I downloaded another four track app, that had a better looking interface, but I ended up never using it because GigBaby has so many more great features. I had the free version, but I bought the full version to have more songs to record, and to support future development (possibly for GUI enhancements).

Fine to record with - but the difficulties getting your tracks off your iphone make it a waste of time. The FAQ is nonsense and admits multiple bugs.

I use this constantly although I dont use all of the features its definatly worth the money only problem is transfering off your iPod/iPhone is a pain if you dont know how to, find Someone who does.

Please UPDATE to allow project songs to imported from iTunes. PLEASE !!!! This app would be worth 3x the price if you could import projects from iTunes. I write music and would love to use this app to add vocal ideas to songs Ive added to iTunes. This would be THE greatest song writing app ever. Reverb would be cool as well. PLEASE UPDATE to allow IMPORT of projects from iTunes. I would give 6 stars.

While it does a lot for a dollar, I probably wont use it because it turns files into .caf files which cant be uploaded to itunes. You also cant mix down the 4 tracks. That being said, if youre just playing around, this could be worthwhile app for a dollar. As for me, I hope they update it and turn the files into mp3s or wav files, and make it possible to do a mixdown. I also hope they add ballad drums.

iPod Touch 1G with Blue Mikey... doesnt work. They say it does, but it dont. Its not the cost of the app, but Im irritated with the time I wasted on this.

Really like this app, its been usefuk to lay down seperate tracks for when i have an idea on the go. However, I dont remember a single update since I got the app (november 09) Did the developer just make the app, get the money and run? iOs4 capability would be greatly appreciated!

Having been in studios recording hundreds of hours of tracking, my expectations for the iPhone/Gigbaby combo were pretty low. Ive been surprisingly impressed with both the quality and ease to extract tracks on to Mac... Nice job - even among Four Track app! Much cheaper and very well for four un-bouncable tracks.

This app is awesome for the price. If you are looking for a great practice or song writing aid on a budget you could not do better. Love the drum tracks!

I wanted this for a drum machine as alternative to metronome. The drum sound are awful and the limited beats are really lame. Otherwise it seems ok and works.

Cool little recorder, have played with enough. In fact I wish it could be simpler, I just want to record a few tracks, without extra beats or the like. But most importantly Im surprise no update has landed in our mist.

I have had tons of trouble sharing my recording or ideas with other guys in my band. I really miss the email sharing option or fix the wifi sharing problem. I love the app and would totally recommend it. Just would like to see the sharing made easier.

just bought this and its not good. but If you are new and just playing around you may like it. the sounds are crappy

Perfect for my purposes, but an additional thing to record on would be awsome
